The Multidisciplinary European Research Institute Graz has considerable experiences in several national and specifically European projects and programmes. Members of MERIG are listed as external experts on short lists for different European programmes and have been called for evaluation and assessment tasks by DG Education and Culture, DG Employment and Social Affairs and DG Research. The institute has experiences in programmes like:
  • Leonardo da Vinci: European Community Vocational Training Action Programme;
  • eLearning: EU-initiative to speed up changes in the education and training systems for Europe's move to a knowledge-based society;
  • INTERREG: European initiative to foster the collaboration of regions (INTERREG A for cross-border, INTERREG B for transnational and INTERREG C for interregional co-operation);
  • FP6 (FP5): European Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development;
  • eContent: EU programme to support the production, use and distribution of European digital content and other national and EU programmes.
